'iya, im a n00b to linux completely. After, my win XP computer got a trojan i want to use dsl!!! with the dsl -2.2b i can't run in the GUI through live CD. i'm brought to a splash screen which says "boot <enter>" i press enter and i'm brought to a command line screen. dsl then loads stuff and i can type in commands, what do i type? help!!

You are obviously having trouble with the graphics system working together with your hardware, so try typing "xsetup". After you have what ou think should work, type "startx". Then go read some stuff at tlpd.org, because you're gonna need it.
