You could right click on the screen and choose on eof the installation options after you've booted up.  You might try looking at the WIKI or doing a search on hard-drive installation.  As far as access, it depends on what you want to do.  You might want to look at ssh or telnet or samba depending on what you're lookig for.

You can run sshd by using the "ssh" boot option, or by starting it from the fluxbox/jwm menu, or by using the command "sudo /etc/init.d/ssh start"

ahh ok thanks! :D

and now when i try to made HDD & HDD2 i use cfdisk /dev/hdd and  i get and error saying *FATAL ERROR: Cannot ope disk drive* why ? the HDD is connected and working,

Are you sure the harddrive is /dev/hdd?  That would usually show that you have four harddrives connected to your machine.  The first harddrive is /dev/hda

the hdd is a 2gb one and i just booted up the DSL, went to bash like the wiki said.  wrote  cfdisk dev/hdd to make a pration like the wiki said and got that error.do i need to do someting else before trying to make a partion on the hdd ?

I think you misunderstand...or maybe i'm misunderstanding you.
"hdd" is not short for "hard disk"..."hd" is short for "hard disk", and the second "d" signifies that it is the fourth disk in a sequence of disks...hda, hdb, hdc, and hdd.  So using the command "cfdisk /dev/hdd" will not work unless you are trying to cfdisk the fourth disk (which doesn't exist in most standard computers, so sometimes hdd is instead used for a cd or dvd drive).  Your command most likely should be "cfdisk /dev/hda" or "cfdisk /dev/hdb"...or it could be "cfdisk /dev/sda" if you're working with a usb drive.

Try doing a couple forum searches and/or take a look at the  < DSL wiki page > for 'cheat code' and I think you may find some answers.

:)

-Good luck

Is there a way you can get windows drivers for your Network Card?  If so you can use the ndiswrapper (I think thats it).  I am just starting out with Linux but I know you use that when there are no compatible Linux drivers.  Google it or search the fourm for info on how to set it up.

Here is a good place to look for ndiswrapper information, including where to get the Windows driver files:
