Hi, I just installed dsl 2.2b. Its great, very fast. Two problems: 1. I noticed that in the on screen system stats my / and /home file systems are only 235M(bytes) I assume. When I clicked on synaptic it went through the process of updating then when I used the command "sudo synaptic" it gave me an error and told me to use "dpkg --reconfigure -a" I used that and it spat this out: fialed to write status record....continues with folder...
: no space left on device. When I installed I told it to use hda1. Did it make a small partition? Whats the problem? One other thing is that the scroll wheel on my Microsoft optical wireless mouse doesn't work. Can I fix this. Not a big deal but kidna annoyin. Thanks for your help in advance.

I know what the problem is. I was on ubuntu and it had installed several partitions for the filesystem. How can i resize hda1 to be the whole disk? I tried parted but it gave me this: when I use "sudo parted /dev/hda1

Warning device /dev/hda1 is neither SCSI or IDE drive
Ignore cancel: #and a curser here that doesnt let me do anything like y or yes or whatever.

whats goin on?
