I tried to edit a page in DSL-Wiki, but couldn't log in from page:< http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/wiki/index.php/Special:Userlogin > it said following:
But there wasn't any "form" to make a new user!! And yes I have cookies enabled. Tried with firefox and IE. So how can I get an account and edit the wiki?? I wanted to chande the "Language Support" -page:
This is wrong. Or well it is right IF you use "lang=de" but if you use "de-latin1" Or "fi-latin1" (instead of de or fi) the special characters work just fine. Exept that the € (=euro) character isn't available, and Shift-4 gives $ instead of ¤... Euro-character would work if DSL would have fi-latin9 (smetimes fi-latin0, which is the same) __ anaconda Posted by anaconda on Mar. 22 2006,13:48
Oh.seached the forum, and found out that registering is not possible because of a spam-problem. Sounds like DSL-wiki is in need of a few moderators, who would check each new page (or change) and add them to wiki if they seem OK! I wolunteer for the job, but 1 isn't enough. Could also open a email account for DSL-wiki to which all moderators would have access. For example something like DSL_wiki@gmail.com (if it is available) Heh.. maybe DSL_support@gmail.com would also be a good idea?? if there would be enough supporters.. _ anaconda Posted by denomales on Mar. 27 2006,05:42
I would like to post information to the wiki, but don't have enough time to be an admin. In the interest of helping the public can you set up a public editable wiki? |
