Yo,
I need a very simple question answered:
HOW DO I INSTALL DSL?
even as i type it, i feel my inner n00bzor coming out, but i simply cannot find a dumbed-down-enough version of how to install it.
Accepting links, ".txt"s, written answers and even sarcastic remarks...  XP

It would really help if the old useful posts didn't just randomly disappear so we could continue linking to them.

When you burn an ISO file you need to burn it "as a CD image" rather than as a typical data CD.  Most modern burning software will give you this option.  The reason for this is because when you burn a typical data CD you are using the ISO filesystem, but you end up with a CD that is essentially a backup of the file you downloaded rather than a CD containing a useable bootable operating system.  If you burn it as a disk image, you should get a CD that contains a boot sector and an operating system.

You'll need to check your burning software and see if it has an option to "burn CD image" or "burn from image" or "burn from ISO" or something like that.
