I am wanting to install DSL onto a thin client, preferably booting through usb.

Can this been done?
Any particular thin clients work better than others?

I have installed DSL on a geode based thin client I have that boots off CF. It had build in ethernet, usb and audio so now I have a tiny silent PC :) . It does run rather slowly but it works great for browsing the web and play shoutcast streams.

I'm interested in the geode. Any way to have wireless on board? I was thinking of a usb dongle. Any experience about it?

The thin client I have had a PCI slot hidden inside as I think another model of it has a modem fitted. After playing with it I thought I'd try a wireless PCI card in it and it works a treat :) .

There areways thin clients in ebay under Buy>Computing>Networking>Mainframes/ Terminals. A WYSE Winterm or Compaq Evo should be just what your are looking for :)
