What a good c complier and where can i find a flex package.

also how can i install Nero, with either the deb or rpm file?

Compiler, not a clue.

Nero.deb, You could try > dpkg -i (package name).deb
You need to have the dsl-dpkg.dsl installed, of course theres no telling if you have the dependency's nero needs.

There are a C compiler as MyDSL extension. The gcc1.dsl file. But if this compiler is good, that is another story.

Dont use nero. use k3b instead. It is very easy and good and made for linux. And it is in .dsl repository. (~50mb)

Hello Darien1629!
Check out the latest remaster in the "ReMastering HOWTO for DSL". It is a remaster for programming and it includes gcc and works fine for compiling. I just tried to include k3b also and it works.
