I have installed DSL on my computer, and wanted to install
Macromedia Flash Player also, I have downloaded it but can't get it installed !! TIA

All you need to do is copy flashplayer.xpt and libflashplayer.so from the download to /usr/local/firefox/plugins. Then type about:plugins in the firefox addressbar to check if there installed. It's all in the macromedia readme text.

Thanks,Kerry,but I'm a real noob as far as linux goes, I get: cp: cannot create regular file  ` /usr/local/firefox/plugins/flashplayer.xpt' : Permission denied
I'm in emelFM if that helps   Thanks

Right click the emelfm icon and select super user.

i just put libflashplayer.so in /home/dsl/.mozilla/plugins
and it seems to work.

Thanks,kerry,got it intstalled,but it sort of semi works with a site called pitbull poker,which is one of the first flash poker sites in existence. There just is no table list,or dollar amount,even when loading there's no progress percentage number, I have emailed their support also on this. Thanks.
