Hi everybody,
I have a problem with my DAMN installation to access and mount samba drivbes from other windows machine. If I use build-in Samba Client, I can access that, but I cannot mount that drive, it shows the error. Smbmnt and smbmount commands doesn't work. Is there any way how to make it work, or any alternative how to mount SMB network drive?  Thank You so much

Download the samba.dsl extension from the MyDSL repository.

If you then get further problems and "mount_data version 1919251317 is not supported" in dmesg then you will find that dsl hasn't created the link to the mount helper.

To fix create a softlink from /usr/bin/smbmount to /sbin/mount.smbfs

Just worked through this.....

Cheers Paul
