Hello Guys,

I'm new to DSL and am yet to get my box up and running properly, i just need to ask a couple of questions to see if it is worth progressing any further.

There are a couple of apps that i want to run on my box, one of which is the BlueZ Bluetooth Stack, has anyone had any experiance of running this on DSL?

I notice nearly all of the programs i'm looking to install require me to run the . config proceedure and the 'make' utility, niether of which i could see listed on the DSL packages list, are these in the OS? or is there an alternative i can use?

Thanks,

Rob

I've now got DSL installed and i'm still trying to get this 'Make' utiltity running as i need that to install just about every piece of software i require.

I've found the GNU.dsl extension, but unfortunatly that doesn't include the GNU make utility.

Does anyone have any other methods for getting make installed? I've tried doing it from the binaries but life being as it is this DSL distro doesn't appear to have a compiler installed on it.

Thanks,

Rob
