I would like to remove few applications on the current desktop.

I can just remove the link form the X desktop.

But how can I remove unneeded application to make the iso smaller as possible.

apt-get remove "a modude" does not work. I'm not able tou find firefox with dpkg -l or dpkg-query

Is-it possible to download the sources archive ? in order to make my own myDSL ?

Thanks for this nice and very usefull linux distrib.

you would have to go to the folders and remove the app's yourself(example: firefox is in /usr/local) by deleting them. We already asked for a bare bones dsl, but haven't heard any more on it. I've been looking into puppy for a smaller bare bones os, you can grab the puppy 28mb version and see if that fits your needs. -> < http://www.puppylinux.org/user/downloads.php?cat_id=1 >
