I can get .uci, .dsl, etc to work fine, but what am I missing to load the .unc extensions in v 3.0.1? Using either the mydsl extension browser or the 'mydsl-load' command, I just get, well, nothing. No errors, no nothing. I even tried loading the unionfs.dsl extension (and enabling it) before trying the .unc extensions, which did nothing, either.

I know DSL changed from 3.0 to 3.0.1 as far as using the unionfs, but I didn't see anything in the boot options to enable it, only disable it, which doesn't sound right!!

I'm going crazy thinking that I'm missing something reallllly obvious!

Thanks, Scott

In 3.0.1 unionfs is not used as default, I believe it could be turned on with the boot command "dsl unionfs" (I use 3.0 myself).  See < THIS > thread for more details.

You're exactly right!  You have to use the boot option:

dsl unionfs

Then they work perfectly!! I had previously read through the thread you mentioned, but it actually made no reference to the actual method for booting up with it on. Ah well, some things are so obvious in hindsight.....

Thanks very much,

Scott
