When booting from a CD, how does one switch to xfstt?

I presume one could put a bash script in a file to do the task.

Wait, i could be wrong i just googled xfs fonts and on some sites it says that xfs has been patched to handle true type, so i guess it would depend on what version you get to work. have a look here -> < http://www.linuxselfhelp.com/HOWTO/Font-HOWTO-4.html >

Last time I checked, the Kdrive X server in DSL was not built to support TT fonts (even when using a font server). You'd need to switch to xfree86.
