G'day.
I tested out DSL and managed to get it installed on my 256MB USB drive as USB-ZIP.  I noticed that the filesystem had only 49MB in it, and after formatting the USB drive I found that it wouldn't revert back to the previous 249MB.  Partition Magic can't fix the problem.

Any advice?

Cheers.

Use cfdisk/fdisk/etc and delete all the partitions.  Then create one that will take up all of the space.

p.s. formatting doesn't change the actual size of partitions.
