First off Hi I am new to the group and DSL figured out how to save my session on my usb key running live disk and how to run it in the mem verrryyy fast  :D but I was wondering how to add files with out the internet. I am a Captain on a tugboat and I have the computer on the boat well 2 but want to transfer files from one running winblows that has a aircard with the internet to my usb and then be able to run them or put them in my back up tar I hope I have not ranted to much I can go into more detail if you like buit did not want to yak away heheheheh

For backup/restore help, you could read the startup dillo page afaik, or see the wiki ( < http://damnsmalllinux.org/wiki....ings.3F > )
For adding files (without the internet) you can save them on your usb stick first with another machine, as you have suggested.

So it does not really matter where they are on the disk great Thanks yeah read the start up and even got the page gone read the last paragraph hehehehe
