Moving Desktop Icons

I found how to remove icons from the desktop (setup-desktop-icon tool- remove). I'd like to rearrange the ones remaining, but I can't figure out how to do that.
Any help will be appreciated.

Have you played with the x/y coordinates and layout via icon tool?
