Hi,

Decided to use DSL for an old Toshiba Satellite laptop I have lying around.

Put DSL CD in and booted. I got the bootloader and used:

dsl toram

Tux popped up, image decompressed... then it frooze at the following:

Code Sample
Probing SCSI..... aci7xxx.o

(with the aci7xxx.0 in red)

I then tried booting with:

dsl noscsi

Success! but just can't access the HD.

Laptop details:

Toshiba Satellite
P3 1G
256mb ram
14Gb IBM Travelstar HD
Integrated audio (AC'97)
Video...Not sure.

Any ideas?

I wonder if there's an option for noquiet -  if not, somehow use a bootloader without the "quiet" option and see if there's any more messages about this.
