Why are there 2 different .iso?Forum: Other Help Topics Topic: Why are there 2 different .iso? started by: Duo Maxwell Posted by Duo Maxwell on Feb. 16 2007,04:37
Hi, I wanted to try out DSL on an old comp I had laying around, I'd used the live CD version like a year ago but now that I looked to get the latest version I see that theres now 2 .iso files to choose from, dsl-3.2.iso and dsl-3.2-syslinux.iso. What are the differences if any which one would you suggest to install to the HD?

The only difference is the bootloader/initrd used to boot from CD. After an installation the system is the same with either image.< http://damnsmalllinux.org/wiki....sion%29 > < http://damnsmalllinux.org/cgi-bin....76;st=4 > Posted by ^thehatsrule^ on Feb. 16 2007,04:55
