i would like to know if any one knew how to boot dsl off a 128mb usb flash drive

if you do then could you please explane how

Look at < http://rz-obrian.rz.uni-karlsruhe.de/knoppix-usb/ > or try Flonix, a DSL-based distro which boots off a USB drive.

ok i tryed that but it didnt work


is there a way i could boot directly from a hd
with out the  cd?

You have to dwld Flonix, then replace
"/KNOPPIX/knoppix"
with the one from DSL

Then you should use syslinux to make the drive bootable.
