I have a 3GB MP3 player but when I plug it in it wont show up in the mnt place my other usb deices show up in. I have a 1gb memory stick which shows up but nothing for this device. It is a formatted in fat32 and is a goodmans make. Also if i manage to sync it is there any software that is good for managing MP3s and sticking them on the device. What "mnt" place? Hotplug should assign each USB media device a sequential mount point starting with sda1, sdb1, sdc1, etc. < http://lucky13.blogsavy.com/dsl-hotplug-and-usb-mount-points/ > Posted by curaga on May 22 2007,14:51
I think he meant the mount box..Check it with Aterm (cd /mnt; ls), it may be uba1 too... Also post your "dmesg | tail" after sticking that mp3-player in... Posted by dafunks on May 25 2007,14:41
