i just install dsl on hard drive and find it very charming,
i download dpkg and run apt-get successfully
but i don't know how to install rpms on it.
it is possible to use rpms on dsl?

Short answer: No. DSL does not support RPM for package management.

Long answer: Visit < http://www.rpm.org/ > You might be able to figure from the docs there how to install and use it, but no promises.

DSL uses .deb packages since it's based on Debian. Visit < http://www.debian.org/ > for more info.
