Hi,

DSL 3.3 works now in our living room. Running on a tiny via epia board it is connected to the new flatscreen TV, plays internet radio and the music from our mt-daapd server.

Now I would like to operate it with a wireless keyboard / mouse (trackball) combo.

Who can recommand a combo that works with DSL?

Regards,

Rigas

If it's seen as a regural usb keyb/mouse, it works.

So google for the product name + linux to learn in general..

OK,

I ordered a combo yesterday, that is supposed to run under linux without any drivers.

I will write about my experiences ....

All of the wireless keyboards I've seen have receivers that  plug into a usb port like any other keyboard.

Now, one piece of advice I can give is to use an RF-based setup instead of an IR one. Infra-red requires line of sight and only works for short distances, whereas my RF remote and keyboard can work 100+ feet away through a closed door. (I've tried it)

P.S. - Google is your friend:

That's the unit I have on my htpc.

Yesterday  my "R-MOUSE KB-50" keyboard / mouse combo arrived.
It works without any problems; no drivers were necessary.
It is RF-based.

I ordered it from
