Hello Everybody,I have Win98se and a DVD/RW Lg. My problema is multisession. I make a research in the Internet about a solution to fix this problem. On the Nero site has a program to Win98 that we can change by volumes created on DVDs but it isn't work here. I'd like to know if our DSL can acess this multisession in my DVD because my idea is install DSL in my HD if it works. Thank You Posted by Juanito on Sep. 05 2007,10:40
Perhaps the best thing to do it to burn dsl to cd, boot dsl from the cd and try for yourself - this way you will be sure that it works on your particular hardware.

I did it but I couldn't enject cd CD to put my DVD to make a test. I think DSL needs to stay in the CD to work.

You could try booting dsl from a usb stick or by a combination of floppy and usb stick if your machine's bios does not support booting from usb.Maybe you could eject the cd if you use the "frugal" boot option at the prompt? Posted by FRANZ on Sep. 06 2007,08:40
Frugal boot? I'll try it later. Thank you.

"frugal" won't change anything, but "toram" should -- if you have enough memory to use it.Also, why are you using white text? It's hard to read on grey. Posted by Juanito on Sep. 06 2007,13:43
oops - yes, I meant to say toram

Problem fixed here! I booted the DSL running it in ram method and it works very fine. When I mount my DVD DSL read what Win98 don't. All my multisession. Now I have another question that I'll put in another message. Thanks a lot.
