Icons bootup DSL

Hi

If I boot up DSL and I take Icons in the menu I see my Icons on my desktop but when I restart and I boot DSL again they are gone.

How can I make it so that DSL starts with Icons on the desktop ?

bring up the terminal(rxvt)
scite /home/damnsmall/.xinitrc
add the following line and save

enhance &
