Anyone know how to turnoff the modprobe for the usbcore and other unwanted Kernel modulesMy system doesnt even have a CDROM or USB, and it only has 16Megs ram and every bit helps...

I don't know where exactly these modules are loaded up in the startup script.However, I believe that you can dump the USB stuff by adding 'nousb' to the boot command line.
