Hello.
I just installed DSL on my harddrive in hda1 and have a few questions.

>How do I extract the libstdc++6-4.0.1-5mdk.i586.rpm library and where should I extract it to?
>Also, I downloaded jre-6u3-linux-i586-rpm.bin and I need to know how to extract and where to put that one also.
>I downloaded the flash_player_9 for linux, got that extracted to /home/dsl/, installed the flashplayer with it seems no problem to /home/dsl/.mozilla but when I try to view any pages that might require such plugin my browser crashes.

Any help you can give would be appriciated.

1. Why are you using rpm's (looks like for mandrake)? But you can use extraction tools (think p7zip can), or rpm tools or alien to convert to .deb's.
2. Same thing as above. (though for .bin's you can just execute them to get the rpm - perhaps its an self extractor).
3. Search the forums for flash 9.  Primarily you'll need gtk2 & alsa.

DSL has rpm2cpio - so you can extract them to cpio archives and then to normal files..

A newer Firefox is also needed, at least 1.5 (for Flash 9)
