How can jump over scsi detection, it allways hangs up on
"proping SCSI...  wd70000.o"

Wont go further.. Is there -noscsi argument for bootmanager or sumthing to get past it ?

type      knoppix noscsi
at the boot prompt.

There is a list of boot cheat codes at

I don't think the noscsi code works ..

I use it but i can still see the probing.

Sorry can't help then.
Thought the hardware detection was a straight lift from the knoppix :(

I think we expect too much from such a pared down distro, but it's still bloody good.

for me it did work fine :) BUT :(( my machine has only 8mb memory, which seems to be too less :/ It stuck at the end, and says:
Not enough memory, killing pid (107) sh, and then it realizes, it needs sh, starts it again, and then sees that not enought memory and kills sh again :)) etc. etc :)  Any ways to get it smaller so i can boot it with 8mb memory ?)

Sorry to hear that.
I think you need at leat 16 mb for DSL  if you want it to run with fluxbox  (but am known to be wrong frequently )
try booting with  > knoppix single < that should at least give you the command prompt.
.
You might be luckier looking at one of the floppy based linux distros such as Mulinux (if it's still supported) which can run with as little as 4mb ram. Have a google and see whats out there........
