Duplicate entries in MyDSL menu

Hi
I've found sometimes I get more than one entry for the same program/extension in the MyDSL menu........what's the best way of zapping the duplicates please?

You can edit .jwmmydsl and remove the entries you don't want.

Shouldn't be happening in v4.2.2. Help me identify to correct.
What version? How installed? What extn(s)?

Apologies. I was using DSL version 3.4.........sorry I didn't mention this, it only adds to the confusion.
I'm using 3.4 just as an experiment with alsa.....4.22 shouldn't be any different I know....sorry for that red herring.
