Hello,

I'm trying to install DSL on my Nokia 5510. It is recognized as a mass storage device in wondows. But how do i install it on my nokia?

I formatted it as fat16, then i tried to run syslinux...but it doesnt work.

Anyone?  :(

The problem is that DSL uses the 2.4.20 kernel, but the Nokia 5510 needs 2.4.22 to work by default. There is a patch available for older kernels to include support for the Nokia 5510 at <http://tuxmobil.org/nokryptia.html>, but as I have yet to install DSL on a hard drive, I have yet to do this. If you beat me to it, please let me know, as I'd love a copy of the patched DSL kernel :)

I'm hoping that an updated DSL release with either a >2.4.22 or a 2.6.x kernel included :)
