ok this is on my old computer, i just formatted the harddrive, restarted, and booted into dsl, everything went fine, i did the "enhance?" option, everything went fine, i went to find a disk, came back and the monitor was black. i turned it off/on a few times, it seemed to boot up fine, did its normal routine, but theres no display on the monitor. i check all the connections and they were all fine. i dont know what elset to do?

Screen goes blank after bootup?, or at least the first part of it:Try: boot: knoppix vga=normal That may allow folks with this problem to get a little further along. I have one of those new Dell LCD screens, and that worked for me. Posted by jaities on Feb. 15 2004,04:25
