DSL will be my first ever Linux distro and I have a few questions I thought you guys could help me with:1. I have Windows 2000 on the HD I want DSL on, I would like to remove Windows 2000 & simply have one partition for DSL, how do I do this? Could I use Windows Setup and delete the partition Win2k is on then create a new one and cancel setup? 2. Does DSL install hardware automatically for you, if not how would I install hardware? 3. If I burned a couple of CD's containing things like .txt & .html files as well as a few mp3's would DSL still be able to retreive this data off the CD? Thanks for any help in advance, I tried a few searches before I created this thread but couldn't find direct answers. |
