Hi, I've been looking a distro for my old P2 233/64 and DSL seems like the one. I'm not a Linux user and this is the first distro I've actually gotten online with, which was nice. But the keyboard is acting up.I found this in the unofficial faq...
But I need my Scandinavian umlauts. What do I do? The Keyboard settings in DSL did me no good. Posted by roberts on Dec. 27 2004,18:33
You might try this..Open an Xshell and type this ls /usr/share/keymaps/i386/qwerty Try some of those with the loadkeys command If you find one that works for you, then you can add the loadkeys command to your /opt/bootlocal.sh Posted by volvis on Dec. 27 2004,20:02
дцеThanks, it's working splendid. I couldn't change it through Xshell, but when I quit X and then typed it in, like in the original uFAQ, it worked. loadkeys fi-latin1.kmap.gz Posted by realjobe on Sep. 05 2006,07:22
