You can't just "copy" the file onto CD media.
Within that file is an " image"  or snapshot of an actual DSL CD.

Most CD burning programs let you write to CD " from an image" .

Without knowing more about what you are using to burn your discs,
I cannot help you in any detail...

What you have done is make a "backup" of the downloaded file.

Search the forums for keywords like iso or burn, and you may find
details on making a bootable CD with your setup.

Hey Calvin,

If you want to burn an ISO, you probibly won't be able to do it with anything that comes with windows XP. I suggest < Deep Burner > as it is free for non-commercial use and has been 100% solid for me.

Once you download it, just select the button that says "Burn ISO image". It's really simple.

Once that's done put the CD back in your drive and re-boot!

Good Luck!
