Guys,
I have DSL running on a old 133 with 40megs of ram, I went   to shutdown the computer and it crashed? So I just turned it off. This morning I started it up and went to login and xserver wouldn't work for the larger monitor I am now useing. I got the bright Idea of logging in as root and deleating my account
and recreating it. Now it won't exept any passwords?
Now I can only login as root. I edited the accccounts by
clicking on system/addusers/ opening the edit user box.
What do I do now? I don't like running as root. Thanks in
advance -Tom?

The only suggestion I have is make sure your new user has a userID of 1001 and groupID of 50.  I'm not sure what special setup there might be for user dsl

If you still have your livecd, you could copy over the /home/dsl directory if needed.

But you will still need adduser / useradd (I forget the exact synatx) to recreate the account itself.
