We've got openvpn working on RH linux, IPCOP and Fedora Core 1,2 but I seem to be have some very odd issues getting openvpn to work with the HD install of DSL. We are attempting to use a the 2.0rc stuff and can not see packets leaving the external ppp0 interface. We have the ip_forwading set to 1, we have tried with *working* iptables rules and with *no* iptables rules. The only noticable message that looks like an error is "No outgoing address to send packet" and google only gets me the mostly copies of the C code that has the error (yes, the "keys" are the same). The openvpn was compiled under the KNOPPIX 3.4 hd install without lzo.

So, basically I'm asking if anyone has tried openvpn with DSL and has it working??? If so, was anything done special???

Please give us a howto (build, binary, whatever)
OpenVPN is a very powerful and easy to use VPN system..I am currently working with our developers for < SmoothWall Express 2.0 > to get a viable addition or MOD that can be used in conjunction with a wireless node on the firewall, this way the wireless traffic is double encrypted and would be even more secure

Sure, my goal is to push a .dsl file in the end.The only problem is that document creation is not my strong point...
