OK I have installed XFree86.dsl, I changed the lines is .xserverrc, I added the XF86Config-4 file. I have one problem I am trying to get a USB touchscreen to work, which it does not work and I do not seem to have a log file for XFree86. If there was an error with the touchscreen wouldn't XFree86 create a log file? I wonder if XFree86 is actually running? I have mouse and keyboard working and I do have the GUI showing.I am using dsl-1.0rc2 and XFree86 4.3.0. Any help would be great. Thanks. Posted by mikshaw on April 18 2005,20:12
a log file won't be created by default with the method used in the instructions. I think it's just written to the terminal.Edit .xserverrc, adding "&>/name/of/log/file" to the end of the line. |
