Hello everybody,
I have remastered DSL 1.0.1 from Live-CD according to "DSL RAM Remaster Howto" tutorial. I have substituted the following list of file:
/home/dsl/.xinitrc
/home/dsl/.xserverrc
/opt/bootlocal.sh
/home/dsl/.fluxbox/init
/home/dsl/.fluxbox/menu
with mine (they are in my /mnt/hda1)

and I have added some new directories in /opt.

I put them in the new directory called "source" I have created according to the tutorial.
I burn the CD but when I reboot from it I see that:
1) every non-graphical application I've put in /opt/bootlocal.sh starts correctly.
2) every graphical application in the other files does NOT start.

I've look at the CD file system and only /opt/bootlocal.sh is changed. I have gone to "source" directory used for the remastering but all files are exactly the files I want!
What happened? Where is my mistake?

I can say that I created the directories "source", "newcd", "newcd/KNOPPIX" in the /mnt/hda1 (which is the place where I did a "dsl-hdnstall", where I installed my applications and try everything successfully), and I have started from Live-CD.

Thanks in advance.

at boot time the /home/dsl is copied from /etc/skel.
so change:
/etc/skel/.xinitrc
/etc/skel/.xserverrc
/etc/skel/.fluxbox/init
/etc/skel/.fluxbox/menu
