Is there any software on this cd that will make an image of the hard drive and put it on ftp server? I know there are programs like g4u and g4l but neither have worked for me. Any response is appreciated.

If you have ample storage space,
you could " dd " the image to your space,
then FTP the file over to wherever you want..

No compression , like you'd find with ghost or acronis for M$,
but g4l didn't have compression either, I believe..

" dd if=/dev/hdXx of=/mnt/whereveryourspaceis "

ive heard that answer to, but unfortuatly i dont have alot of free storage on that machine
