I would like to compile several different software packages, for example perl-Tk, Prima, or perl-Curses, and I have the prerequisite libraries on my system already.  But before I can compile these new packages, I need the header files for those libraries.

Has anyone put together "devel" packages for the existing DSL libraries?  If not, how do people go about compiling software for DSL?

You can find them thru debian's apt package system,
or look in a knoppix 3.4 disc for some that you need..

Is knoppix 3.4 what DSL is based on?

I looked at a few knoppix mirrors, and couldn't find a 3.4 disc.  Anyone have a URL?

Thanks,
Dave

It's pretty hard to find now. I searched google for "KNOPPIX_V3.4-2004-05-17-EN.iso" and came up with the following link
