DSL is very simple run ... i install to P233mmx with MB BX.. DSL run smooth and fast....
but why when i install to hd on MB TXPROII vga on board... its hang..... when i type "dsl-hdinstall"................
but live cd nothing wrong....
any body help me to solve this problem?

Did you first setup a swap partition, and an ext2 type partition on your hard drive?

If DSL runs nicely from LiveCD, it should do fine installed as well..

You could also try a frugal-install, and take advantage of the smaller,
lighter extensions for adding programs, recommended for this type of install.

With the full hdinstall, apt is recommended for adding programs, not myDSL.
Programs installed from apt are usually much fatter, and require more resources.

thx i'll try frugal....but it's really strange for me.... do something wrong with motherboard??? cause i use older motherboard (VX and p166 with 64 ram and HD2.1G) to install DSL to Harddisk.. it's run very well..fast... but when i'll try to TXPROII with P233MMX ram 128 hd4.3 G.... my comp is really hang... yup i use cfdisk first then mkswap....swap on... the last use hd-install....mkliloboot...... is that corect??? but not work on the TX ProII ...

?Pls ur further suggestion...
truely i'm very interesting on OS DSL... it's run very fast than oher linux ...DSL can use yahoo msg, xchat and other. it's fun..... some body help my situation cause comp this type (TXPROII) i use on work in my office ....:)
