I've gotten the pendrive_usbzip installation on a SanDisk cruzer mini 256 USB 2.0 and I'm trying to set it up as an alternative boot for computers that won't start due to viruses. I want to boot from the pendrive and then run BitDefender. However, I can't get it to recognize the ntfs partition on the harddrive of the computer I'm testing on (Toshiba Satellite A75-S206, WinXP Home Ed). I've tried mounting everything in the world and I just can't get it to mount the harddrive. I've been able to successfully mount the harddrive using the Live CD, but not the pendrive. I have noticed that I have to load the ntfs module myself after startup. Everytime I try to mount hda an error saying "Wrong fs type..." and it asks if I''m trying to mount an extended partition rather than logical
When I try to mount hda1, it gives me the wrong fs type error again, but this time instead of asking about partitions, it says "Could this be the IDE device where you in fact use ide-scsi so that sr0 or sda or so is needed?" So I checked and ide-scsi is activated.

My second problem is that while trying to install dpkg, it won't install properly. I download the program using myDSL from desktop, then under Xterminal, I type: "mydsl-load" when the load procedure comes up, I type in the directory, and then I get this message :
tar: Cannot create directory 'etc/apt': No space left on device
tar: etc/apt/apt.conf: No such file or directory
error writing /etc/mtab.tmp: No space left on device

I tried making the etc/apt directory with mkdir but it also says No space left on device.

I'm new to DSL, I've always used SuSE and never had mounting problems.

Also, one last thing, how do you delete entries in the myDSL directory from the desktop popup menu?
