I have DSL, XAMPP and Mambo, everything is working perfect, but I can't figure out how to be able to send mail.

I'm figuring sendmail is the best option, but I have no idea how to install it?

Is there an extention for this?

Hi rudy!

I use sylpheed to send e-mails (and receive them) and it works great!

What executable does sylpheed use to send mail?

I need to configure configure mamabo to use it. I searched all through out for anything with *mail*, but couldn't find anything?

sylpheed is used to connect to a pop mail server.

You need an account on a pop mail server to use sylpheed.

If you wish to set up your own personal mail server, you will need something like sendmail in order to do it.

But as others like Grim has said in the past, it is usually not worth the trouble to set up (properly and secured from spammers) your own mail server.
