i cannot get my .xinitrc file nor the filetool.lst file to copy during the remastering process.....nebody have any ideas? and yes i can fully remaster a cd without problems...so plz give me some advanced advice.

You need to change the /etc/skel/.xinitrc file in your remaster. Anything you put in the version in home/dsl gets over ridden by the one in skel. Same thing with the other files in skel.

Hi!

I usually edit this file after remastering. Just put it on the filetool.lst ( home/dsl/.xinitrc ) and make a backup and the edited one will be there when you restore your backup.
