I'm are trying to install a Matrox G45 dualhead videocard.
I downloaded the mga_drv.o file from the matrox site and looked at the readme file. The instructions on how to change the XF86Config file do not seem to work with DSL. Is there a way to check wich video driver is cuurently being used?
Do you have any suggestions on how to install a dual head videocard?
As you cab imagine , i'm a newbe, so pleese be gentle..:)

Thanks!

Manno

DSL does not use XFree86 for the xserver.  It uses something called K-Drive/TinyX/Freedeskop.org xserver

If the default Xvesa or xfbdev drivers don't work with your video card, you can try installing the XFree86.dsl extension and then follow your driver instructions.
