Hi, I try to do floppy install DSL on my virgin webplayer that come with 48M DiskOnChip (DOC). Only Modem, no NIC, no CD-ROM and I am using USB FDD

I will try to do FDD install but I just need files to fit on my DOC first !

Thanks

That's a rather defeatist attitude.  If it weren't worth the time or energy we wouldn't have DSL in the first place.  DSL is approximately equal to Knoppix chopped down to fit on busines card CD or usb stick....taking out a couple more mb shouldn't be that much trouble, particularly when there are a few gui apps which already have smaller alternatives installed.

I can't say how to do it, but i'd suggest searching these forums, and maybe Knoppix as well, for "remastering".
