Printing colors in LinuxForum: Other Help Topics Topic: Printing colors in Linux started by: Flying Eagle Posted by Flying Eagle on Mar. 23 2005,00:11
Hello all,I've noticed in the linuxrc script there are commands for printing text in different colots: ${WHITE}, ${BLUE}, ${GREEN}, and so on. Also characters to clear the screen. How are these characters printed from the keyboard? I guess the ${CLEAR} = ^c (circumflex and c) ? Some characters look like a small '=' and '>' symbol combined. Is there an #include file with these macros that can be used with GCC, or perhaps another language ? Being able to print in color would be more interesting. Flying Eagle, aka, Wayne Andrews |
