I assume you'd put it in /opt/bootlocal.sh

Yes this works for me for xscreensaver and a few WM dock app .DSLs but, for some reason, 'Wmmoonclock &' does not work on any line position in the .xinitrc file. It just does not open up on boot. Any ideas?

1) is the command is spelled correctly (maybe wmmoonclock?)2) is the application in your path, or is it maybe in /opt? 3) is there anything special that needs to be done, such as setting LD_LIBRARY_PATH? (check the menu item, if it exists) pay no attention to my suggestion about bootlocal...i forgot it was an X application. |
