i read the info for installing alsa but i do not know how to enter boot parameters like dsl alsa somebody plz HELP

At the DSL splash screen you see a boot prompt, where the boot process pauses for a few seconds.  This is the time to enter boot options.

so it actually says boot: or something like that cause i diddn't see anything like that

did i mention i'm running a hd install if it makes a difference ^_^

HD install makes a big difference.

i did that and found it but what do i type in it? i've tried typing in just dsl alsa but it said something like dsl isn't a command

You  will find that many things that are easy to do on a live system -Mobile Live Linux Software systems or MOLLS - become majer problems when you install to HDD.

You have to edit the file mentioned and include the boot time options.
