Anybody know where I can download knoppix 3.4 livecd, i.e. the knoppix version from which current dsl is made?  I need to compile a driver which requires kernel source, and the kernelsource.dsl only has includes.

Thanks.  (I poked around on knoppix.net, but didn't see any old versions there...)

Unfortunately, the iso isnt available anymore. That's why I made the kernelsource.dsl. It's the entire /usr/src/ tree from knoppix 3.4-5-17-2004.

The CD never contained the full kernel source, just the headers and include files.

If you need the full kernel source, it's probably wanting to recompile the kernel, which would most likely break DSL anyway.

Try it with just the kernelsource.dsl. You might be suprised.

If not, you can try to grab the 2.4.26 source from Debian Testing (Sarge).

No guarantees though.

Thanks Henk!

To answer J.P, I did try with kernelsource, but the makefile for the driver I was trying to compile was attempting to use a Makefile in /usr/src/linux.
