what are your other system specs?

Most importantly, do you have a netcard?

It should be possible - create a 55-60 MB dos/win partition, transfer the 48 MB knoppix file from the CD to c:\knoppix, download < http://ibiblio.org/pub.....0.img, > create and boot from the diskette, and it should work.

Download and create a dos 6.22 bootdisk from < http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm; > boot with it, make a 55-60 MB partition with fdisk and format it with "format c: /S" (without quotes). Then you should have a c: partition.

knoppix doesn't fit on a floppy :( i even rared it and everything. im about ready to give up.

You have to use some (zip?) utility that splits the KNOPPIX file into floppy sized chunks (15-20 of them), copy them over and finally reassemble them into the KNOPPIX file.
